While all AED’s deliver a shock, Zoll AED Plus features Real CPR Help that guides with audio and visual prompts and provides feedback for proper CPR.

The Zoll AED Plus uses audible and viewable commands to lead the rescuer through a resuscitation cycle that may include defibrillation and/or CPR. When attached to the victims chest the electrode evaluates the ECG rhythm of the heart and determines if an electrical shock is advisable. When shock is required, the AED charges and provides the necessary visual and audible instructions.

Zoll’s CPR-D Padz simplify the placement of the electrodes. The one piece design is easy to position and meets the anatomical characteristics of 99% of the population. Simply placing the red crosshairs at the center of the patients nipple line allows the hand-locator and the two electrode pads to fall into the optimal position for defibrillation and CPR.

Intelligent Pediatric Capability! The Zoll AED Plus can defibrillate children up to eight years old using the Pedi-Padz II electrodes. When the Pedi-Padz II are connected, the AED Plus recognizes that a pediatric rescue is in progress triggering ECG analysis developed specifically for pediatric heart rate.

5 year shelf life for electrodes and batteries. Plus, no expensive, custom batteries to buy! The Zoll AED Plus uses Duracell CR123 lithium batteries which are available at most retail store.
